Schmid Auction Center is located 1 miles east of Teutopolis on U.S. Hwy 40 or 4 miles east of Montrose, IL on U.S. Hwy 40.

Auction Company will not automatic charge credit card unless requested by buyer. A person must have a valid credit card to register for the auction. A person may pay cash, credit card, check at auction pickup. Bad checks will be prosecuted to the fullest extent. We have video cameras in all locations for the open house and auction pickup.

Viewings: Monday August 7th, Tues Aug 8th, Wed Aug 9th, Thurs, Aug 10th, Friday August 11th  8am - 4pm

DYNAMIC CLOSING: The auction will begin closing Monday August 14th @ 6:00pm. An item will automatically extend an additional 2 minutes whenever a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of the lot closing. Every 20 Seconds an item will begin to close. When there is a bid on an item it will extend for 2 minutes.

Internet or bidding problems call the auction company immediately!!!!!

Example on bidding. If a person puts a bid of $1000.00 and the 2nd place bidder places a bid of $800. It will raise the person with the highest bid to $825.00 It will not automatically take a person to the highest bid they have submitted.

AGE REQUIREMENT: All bidders must be at least 18 years of age to purchase. 10% buyer premium on personal property except car.

Every 15 Seconds an item will begin to close. When there is a bid on an item it will extend for 2 minutes.

Bid Increments: $1.00 to $100.00 is 1$. $101 to $1000.00 is $10. $1001.00 to $10,000.00 is $25.00. $10,001 and up is $100.00 Example on bidding. If a person puts a bid of $100.00 and the 2nd place bidder places a bid of $50. It will raise the person with the high bid to $51.00. It will not automatically take a person to the highest bid they have submitted.
